I Got Competition (and I like that.)

Mario Garcia is writing about North Bay Village as well.  He has started a blog called Mario for North Bay Village (Click Here to Read) and it's good.  He's not lazy like I am and writes regularly.  

Mario is at every board and every commission meeting and is passionate about his relatively new home here in North Bay Village - he's been here about three years.  It's great that there is a new voice.  

 In particular, he wrote a really good piece on the ballot questions.  I'm planning to do the same when I come up for air but here's Mario's take (Click Here).

In other North Bay Village news, WSVN is donating $2000 for a city float in the Orange Bowl Parade.  

 There is also news on the strip club front as the owners file to foreclose the property.  See the Miami Herald story here.  

 So that's the Friday fish wrap.  I'm hoping to write up profiles of the new commissioners this weekend.
